Plug Power’s FCHEA Pathfinder Award Win!

We at Plug Power truly believe in the impact hydrogen and fuel cells can have for our global customer base, in terms of increased productivity and benefits to the environment, and that’s why we’re thrilled to announce that our Director of Marketing Communications, Teal Vivacqua, has been awarded the Fuel Cell & Hydrogen Energy Association (FCHEA) Pathfinder Award!

The award recognizes those that have helped guide FCHEA and the hydrogen industry on its path to broader awareness and acceptance.

FCHEA is the trade association dedicated to the commercialization of fuel cells and hydrogen energy technologies and includes as members, system and material component manufacturers, hydrogen producers and fuel distributors, government laboratories and agencies, trade associations, utilities, and other end users.

The goals of FCHEA include leading national advocacy programs to encourage government support, providing a voice for the industry, and educating the public and key opinion and policy leaders on the economic and environmental benefits of fuel cell and hydrogen technologies.

The association recognized Teal and the rest of the Plug Power team for participation in the National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day. Officially recognized by the United States Senate, National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day occurred October 8, 2015, to raise awareness of commercially viable fuel cell and hydrogen technologies that allow businesses and consumers to increase productivity, improve operational efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and increase America’s energy security.

Plug Power provided full support of the day with a customer video launch, a press release, social media efforts by our CEO Andy Marsh and the rest of the Plug Power team, a bi-coastal meeting and a sponsorship of FCHEA’s Capitol Hill reception.
