High-Five for Plug Power’s 5th “Best Places to Work” win!

December 13, 2018

48 winning companies.
One heroic mission: To have the best possible workplace culture.

On Friday, December 7, 2018, a group of Plug Power employees were excited to accept the company’s fifth ‘Best Places to Work in the Capital Region’ award at the annual luncheon hosted by the Albany Business Review. The Best Places to Work award goes to companies who understand that culture goes beyond a few perks. They engage with their employees and invest in their futures. That’s Plug Power, through and through.

In 2018, more than 160 companies participated in the award survey process. For the 5th consecutive year, Plug Power emerged as a Best Place to Work in the “large company” category. As one of our employees put it, “We understand that innovation comes in many different ways. No idea is a bad idea – and when you’re as busy as we are, no hard work is turned away.”

Culture is a keystone of any organization – not only attracting employees to the workplace, but enabling them to stay. When asked to sum up the company’s culture in one word, Plug Power employees answered – “Honesty – We understand that if we approach every situation with honesty, each of our strengths can come together to make really impactful change.”

At Plug Power, every day is another opportunity to change the way the world moves, and that’s something we’re fully committed to. High-Five to the Plug Power team for win number 5!
