Tags: FUEL CELL, hydrogen, Plug Power, stationary power
Robin is a systems engineer on the High-Power Stationary team at Plug. She helps design, test, and improve the 1 MW and 1.5 MW GenSure systems that Plug has developed and deployed. Her work ranges from reviewing PLC code to system level testing and field sign offs.

A Move Back to What Matters
Sustainability has always mattered to Robin. She moved back east to be closer to family and to work in green energy. She set clear goals after college and landed a role that matched her aim to work as a systems engineer in clean energy.
Field Work That Hits Home
On a recent trip to certify GenSure units at a customer site in California, Robin witnessed a nearby forest fire. Seeing a wildfire up close made the need for reliable backup power very real. It reinforced the role her team plays when communities face emergencies.
Tackling Tough Technical Work
Working in High Power Stationary has been some of the hardest work of Robin’s career. Each product version has required the team to study, adapt, and improve control systems and components. She credits her colleagues for their talent and hard work and strives to match their level every day.
Why Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Matter
Robin is excited by the end-to-end hydrogen vision. She likes the idea of a customer site using GenSure for backup while GenDrives and GenFuel handle other needs. Combining these products opens new possibilities and real value for customers.
A Simple Daily Aim
Robin aims to surpass her limits. She tries to learn something new each day and to be a better person than the day before. That drive helps her grow professionally and personally.
Life Beyond Engineering
Outside work, Robin designs and sews her own clothes. She reads widely, travels when she can, and paints for fun. These creative habits keep her curious and energized.
