Honda R&D and Plug Power have collaborated on the development of the Home Energy Station under a series of phased agreements since 2002. The Home Energy Station, incorporating technologies from both Honda and Plug Power, provides heat and electricity for a home or small business and hydrogen fuel for a fuel cell automobile. The companies also collaborate on more general R&D topics to develop technologies for future products.
