Katrina Fritz Intwala, VP Gov & PR

Katrina Fritz Intwala was appointed Vice President of Government Relations and Marketing Communications in June 2008. She has also led the backup power division and related sales, marketing and service activities, since joining Plug Power in 2005 as Government Programs Manager. Fritz Intwala manages government business development and government programs, overseeing strategic relationships with government officials, industry leaders and trade associations. She is also responsible for developing and managing Plug Power’s integrated marketing communications and public relations programs.
Prior to joining Plug Power, Fritz Intwala was the Managing Director of the Wright Fuel Cell Group, where she managed industrial and government relations, technology transfer and finance. She has also held positions at SCO and Tarantella, Inc. in field marketing, channel marketing and organizational development.
Fritz Intwala is also Chair of the California Stationary Fuel Cell Collaborative Industry Advisory Panel and represents Plug Power on the Board of Directors of the Alliance for Clean Energy New York. She and serves on the board of The Legal Project. Fritz Intwala was recognized in 2003 as one of Cleveland’s “40 Under 40” business leaders by Crain’s Cleveland Business. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Business Administration from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
