2009 was a successful year for our GenDrive sales organization. While sales are important to our business, real excitement comes when customer officially commission their GenDrive-powered material handling fleet and begin to tally their operational improvements.

Here at Plug Power, we tout the value of our GenDrive product suite on a daily basis. We understand our customer's focus on increased productivity, lower operational costs and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. But we love nothing more than to hear our customer's support for our product, and the enhancements GenDrive brings to their facility.

Wegmans Retail Service Center made a major step towards sustainability of its operations on January 20, 2010. 50 GenDrive fuel cell power solutions were integrated into their business in the produce building of its Pottsville, PA facility. Another nine will be added to the fleet in March.

I could continue here, writing more about the installation, but how convinced would you be? Instead, I invite you to learn more about Wegmans' decision to convert to fuel cells as reported by the PA Green Report and RepublicanHearld.com.
